Usertick
Airtable integration

Survey answers as Airtable records

Add or update an Airtable record for each survey answer through a Zap that runs the moment someone answers, so your base holds every answer you collect.

From an answer in Usertick to Airtable

A Zap creates a record in the table you choose with the answer in the fields you map, or creates or updates the record that matches, such as the customer's own row.

The Zap starts in Usertick. It can run on every new answer, once the AI has read one, when one turns urgent or when its status changes, and a workflow can hand over only the answers its conditions pick.

Pick a survey in the trigger, and each question arrives as its own field, so the score and the comment land in the Airtable fields you choose. The answer's email, page, country, device and AI reading come with it.

What the Zap can do in Airtable

Choose the action in Usertick, and Zapier opens with the trigger and the action already in place.

  1. 01Create a record
  2. 02Create or update a record

Zapier's page for Airtable listed 19 actions and searches on November 1, 2026. These fit survey answers best.

  • Create Record

Three Zaps to build with Airtable

Each one starts on a Usertick trigger and uses an action from Zapier's page for Airtable.

  • Give each AI theme its own Airtable record

After Response Analyzed, Find or Create Record looks in your Themes table for the AI theme and adds a row when none exists, so a linked record field can connect each answer to its theme.

Airtable action: Find or Create Record

  • Comment on a customer's Airtable record

Urgent Feedback runs Find Record on the email field of your Customers table, and Add Comment to Record posts AI theme and the Response link on the matching record for anyone working in the base.

Airtable action: Add Comment to Record

  • Keep inbox status in an Airtable single select

A change of status starts Response Status Changed, Find Record searches the Response link field, and Update Record writes New status to a single select and Changed by to a text field, so a Kanban view groups answers by status.

    Airtable action: Update Record

Zapier's free plan runs a Zap with one action. A Zap with a search step or a filter has more steps and takes a paid Zapier plan.

What Usertick sends to Zapier

Every trigger carries these fields, ready to map into Airtable.

Survey nameThe survey the answer belongs to
AnswersEach question and its answer, and one field per question when you pick a survey, such as Q1 with the score
Response linkA link that opens the answer in the Usertick inbox
Respondent emailThe email Usertick has for the person who answered, when it has one
Page URL, Country, LanguageWhere the answer came from
Device type, Browser, Operating systemThe device the survey ran on
SourceWhether the answer came from the website, a link, an email or the API
VariantThe A/B variant the person saw
Status, Assignees, CommentsWhere the answer stands in the inbox
AI type, AI urgency, AI theme, AI category, AI sentimentThe AI reading, on every trigger after the AI has read the answer
Previous status, New status, Changed byWhat changed, on Response Status Changed

Attachments such as screenshots stay in Usertick, because a Zap can't open their links. The Response link opens the answer with its files in the inbox.

Connect Airtable in three steps

Settings opens Zapier with the trigger and the action already in place.

  1. 1

    Pick the action in Usertick

Open Settings, then Integrations, select Airtable and choose what the Zap does there.

  2. 2

    Sign in on Zapier

Sign in to Usertick from the Zap and choose the organization when you allow access.

  3. 3

Map the fields and turn it on

Pick the survey to watch, map the answer's fields to Airtable and turn the Zap on.

To send only some answers, add a Zapier step for Airtable to a workflow instead. The workflow's conditions decide which answers reach the Zap, and the workflow can be published once its Zap is on.

Frequently asked questions

A Number or Rating field suits Q1, a single select suits AI type, and a URL field suits the Response link. A Long text field holds the Answers when a survey has many questions.

New Response left without a survey covers every survey, and mapping Survey name to a field lets a view filter by survey. Question fields such as Q1 exist only when a survey is selected, so that table holds the Answers in one field.

Zapier comes with every plan in Usertick, and Free runs 1 Zap. On Zapier, a two-step Zap like this one runs on the free plan.

No. The Zap signs in with your Usertick account, and you choose the organization when you allow access. API keys are for Usertick's REST API.

Yes. Response Analyzed filters by type and urgency, Urgent Feedback runs once for each answer that turns urgent, and a workflow's Zapier step hands over only the answers its conditions pick.

Pick the survey in the trigger. Each question then arrives as its own field, such as Q1 with the score, ready to map into Airtable.

A Zap that starts in Airtable can use Usertick's actions. Update Response sets an answer's status, type or urgency, Add Comment adds a note your team sees in the inbox, and Find Response looks up an answer by email or ID first.

No. Attachments stay in Usertick, because a Zap can't open their links. The Response link field opens the answer, with its files, in the inbox.
