Survey answers as GitHub issues
Open a GitHub issue for each survey answer that reports a bug, and add the labels it needs, through a Zap that can run once the AI marks the answer a bug.
From an answer in Usertick to GitHub
Bug reports from customers belong where the code lives. Start the Zap on Response Analyzed with the type set to Bug, and it opens an issue in the repository you choose with the answer and the page it came from.
The Zap starts in Usertick. It can run on every new answer, once the AI has read one, when one turns urgent or when its status changes, and a workflow can hand over only the answers its conditions pick.
Pick a survey in the trigger, and each question arrives as its own field, so the score and the comment land in the GitHub fields you choose. The answer's email, page, country, device and AI reading come with it.

What the Zap can do in GitHub
Choose the action in Usertick, and Zapier opens with the trigger and the action already in place.
- 01Create an issue
- 02Add labels to an issue
Zapier's page for GitHub listed 22 actions and searches on November 1, 2026. These fit survey answers best.

Three Zaps to build with GitHub
Each one starts on a Usertick trigger and uses an action from Zapier's page for GitHub.
File a GitHub issue with the reporter's environment
Bug reports that Response Analyzed finds open an issue with AI theme as the title and a body that lists Browser, Operating system, Device type and the Response link, so a developer can try to reproduce the report.
GitHub action: Create Issue
Gather repeat reports in one GitHub issue
Bug reports reach a workflow's Workflow Step after AI analysis. Find Issue looks for an open issue that names the AI theme, and Create Comment adds the Answers and Survey name, so repeat reports share one thread.
GitHub action: Create Comment
Label a GitHub issue when a customer escalates
Urgent Feedback runs Find Issue with the AI theme as the search value, and Add Labels to Issue adds a label such as customer-urgent, so a filter in the repository's issue list shows the reports customers are waiting on.
GitHub action: Add Labels to Issue
Zapier's free plan runs a Zap with one action. A Zap with a search step or a filter has more steps and takes a paid Zapier plan.
What Usertick sends to Zapier
Every trigger carries these fields, ready to map into GitHub.
Attachments such as screenshots stay in Usertick, because a Zap can't open their links. The Response link opens the answer with its files in the inbox.
Connect GitHub in three steps
Settings opens Zapier with the trigger and the action already in place.
- 1
Pick the action in Usertick
Open Settings, then Integrations, select GitHub and choose what the Zap does there.
- 2
Sign in on Zapier
Sign in to Usertick from the Zap and choose the organization when you allow access.
- 3
Map the fields and turn it on
Pick the survey to watch, map the answer's fields to GitHub and turn the Zap on.
To send only some answers, add a Zapier step for GitHub to a workflow instead. The workflow's conditions decide which answers reach the Zap, and the workflow can be published once its Zap is on.

Anyone can read an issue in a public repository, including any email or written answer mapped into its body. For a public repository, map AI theme and the Response link, which leads to your Usertick inbox, and leave out Respondent email and the Answers.
Map the Response link into the issue's body. A developer who follows it sees the answer in the Usertick inbox, with its comments and any screenshot, which a Zap can't carry into GitHub.
Zapier comes with every plan in Usertick, and Free runs 1 Zap. On Zapier, a two-step Zap like this one runs on the free plan.
No. The Zap signs in with your Usertick account, and you choose the organization when you allow access. API keys are for Usertick's REST API.
Yes. Response Analyzed filters by type and urgency, Urgent Feedback runs once for each answer that turns urgent, and a workflow's Zapier step hands over only the answers its conditions pick.
Pick the survey in the trigger. Each question then arrives as its own field, such as Q1 with the score, ready to map into GitHub.
A Zap that starts in GitHub can use Usertick's actions. Update Response sets an answer's status, type or urgency, Add Comment adds a note your team sees in the inbox, and Find Response looks up an answer by email or ID first.
No. Attachments stay in Usertick, because a Zap can't open their links. The Response link field opens the answer, with its files, in the inbox.
