Survey answers as Todoist tasks
Add a Todoist task for each survey answer that needs follow-up, or comment on one, through a Zap that runs as soon as a customer answers your survey.
From an answer in Usertick to Todoist
A Zap adds a task to the project you choose with the answer in its description, or comments on a task, so following up on feedback sits on the same list as the rest of the day.
The Zap starts in Usertick. It can run on every new answer, once the AI has read one, when one turns urgent or when its status changes, and a workflow can hand over only the answers its conditions pick.
Pick a survey in the trigger, and each question arrives as its own field, so the score and the comment land in the Todoist fields you choose. The answer's email, page, country, device and AI reading come with it.

What the Zap can do in Todoist
Choose the action in Usertick, and Zapier opens with the trigger and the action already in place.
- 01Create a task
- 02Comment on a task
Zapier's page for Todoist listed 15 actions and searches on November 1, 2026. These fit survey answers best.
- Create Task
- Add Comment to Task
- Update Task
- Move Task to Section
- Mark Task as Completed
- Find Task
- Find Project
- Find or Create Item
Three Zaps to build with Todoist
Each one starts on a Usertick trigger and uses an action from Zapier's page for Todoist.
Give urgent feedback a Todoist p1 due today
Urgent Feedback adds a Todoist task at priority 1, due today, with AI theme as the task name and the Response link in its description, so it sorts to the top of a Today view ordered by priority.
Todoist action: Create Task
Complete the Todoist task once the answer is resolved
Behind a Zapier filter that keeps resolved answers, Response Status Changed runs Find Task on a name that holds the Respondent email, and Mark Task as Completed checks that task off.
Todoist action: Mark Task as Completed
Keep one Todoist task per customer
On New Response, Find or Create Item searches the project for a task named with the Respondent email and creates it when none exists, so a follow-up list holds one task for each customer.
Todoist action: Find or Create Item
Zapier's free plan runs a Zap with one action. A Zap with a search step or a filter has more steps and takes a paid Zapier plan.
What Usertick sends to Zapier
Every trigger carries these fields, ready to map into Todoist.
Attachments such as screenshots stay in Usertick, because a Zap can't open their links. The Response link opens the answer with its files in the inbox.
Connect Todoist in three steps
Settings opens Zapier with the trigger and the action already in place.
- 1
Pick the action in Usertick
Open Settings, then Integrations, select Todoist and choose what the Zap does there.
- 2
Sign in on Zapier
Sign in to Usertick from the Zap and choose the organization when you allow access.
- 3
Map the fields and turn it on
Pick the survey to watch, map the answer's fields to Todoist and turn the Zap on.
To send only some answers, add a Zapier step for Todoist to a workflow instead. The workflow's conditions decide which answers reach the Zap, and the workflow can be published once its Zap is on.
Read the setup guideFrequently asked questions
Create Task takes a due date in plain words, such as today or next Monday, as Todoist's own date field does. A fixed phrase in the Zap gives every follow-up the same deadline, counted from when the answer arrives.
Create Task has a responsible person field for shared projects, and that person has to be a collaborator on the project. A Find User step can match a teammate's email from Assignees to their Todoist user.
Zapier comes with every plan in Usertick, and Free runs 1 Zap. On Zapier, a two-step Zap like this one runs on the free plan.
No. The Zap signs in with your Usertick account, and you choose the organization when you allow access. API keys are for Usertick's REST API.
Yes. Response Analyzed filters by type and urgency, Urgent Feedback runs once for each answer that turns urgent, and a workflow's Zapier step hands over only the answers its conditions pick.
Pick the survey in the trigger. Each question then arrives as its own field, such as Q1 with the score, ready to map into Todoist.
A Zap that starts in Todoist can use Usertick's actions. Update Response sets an answer's status, type or urgency, Add Comment adds a note your team sees in the inbox, and Find Response looks up an answer by email or ID first.
No. Attachments stay in Usertick, because a Zap can't open their links. The Response link field opens the answer, with its files, in the inbox.
