Survey answers in Google Chat spaces

Post each survey answer in a Google Chat space through a Zap that runs the moment someone answers, so the team reads feedback where it already talks.

From an answer in Usertick to Google Chat

A Zap posts a message with the survey, the score and the answer in the space you choose. Google Chat on Zapier needs a Google Workspace Business or Enterprise plan, and an admin has to approve the Zapier app.

The Zap starts in Usertick. It can run on every new answer, once the AI has read one, when one turns urgent or when its status changes, and a workflow can hand over only the answers its conditions pick.

Pick a survey in the trigger, and each question arrives as its own field, so the score and the comment land in the Google Chat fields you choose. The answer's email, page, country, device and AI reading come with it.

What the Zap can do in Google Chat

Choose the action in Usertick, and Zapier opens with the trigger and the action already in place.

  1. 01Post a message in a space

Zapier's page for Google Chat listed 1 actions and searches on November 1, 2026. These fit survey answers best.

Three Zaps to build with Google Chat

Each one starts on a Usertick trigger and uses an action from Zapier's page for Google Chat.

  • Post a Google Chat card with an Open answer button

On New Response, Create Message posts a card in the space you select, with Survey name as the title, Q1 as the subtitle, the written answer as the text and a button whose URL is the Response link.

    Google Chat action: Create Message

  • Alert a Google Chat escalation space on urgent feedback

Urgent Feedback posts once per answer in the space your escalation group watches, with AI theme as the card title and AI sentiment and the Answers as its text.

    Google Chat action: Create Message

  • Tell a Google Chat space when an answer changes status

Response Status Changed posts a card with Survey name as the title and Previous status, New status and Changed by as the text, so the space follows the work without opening the inbox.

    Google Chat action: Create Message

Zapier's free plan runs a Zap with one action. A Zap with a search step or a filter has more steps and takes a paid Zapier plan.

Connect Google Chat in three steps

Settings opens Zapier with the trigger and the action already in place.

  1. 1

    Pick the action in Usertick

Open Settings, then Integrations, select Google Chat and choose what the Zap does there.

  2. 2

    Sign in on Zapier

Sign in to Usertick from the Zap and choose the organization when you allow access.

  3. 3

Map the fields and turn it on

Pick the survey to watch, map the answer's fields to Google Chat and turn the Zap on.

To send only some answers, add a Zapier step for Google Chat to a workflow instead. The workflow's conditions decide which answers reach the Zap, and the workflow can be published once its Zap is on.

Frequently asked questions

Each Zap posts to the space its Create Message step names, and New Response can watch one survey. A Zap for each survey and space keeps a product team's answers apart from a support team's.

Everyone in the space sees the card and its button, and the link leads to the answer in the Usertick inbox. A person in the space without access to that Usertick organization can't read the answer from it.

Zapier comes with every plan in Usertick, and Free runs 1 Zap. On Zapier, a two-step Zap like this one runs on the free plan.

No. The Zap signs in with your Usertick account, and you choose the organization when you allow access. API keys are for Usertick's REST API.

Yes. Response Analyzed filters by type and urgency, Urgent Feedback runs once for each answer that turns urgent, and a workflow's Zapier step hands over only the answers its conditions pick.

Pick the survey in the trigger. Each question then arrives as its own field, such as Q1 with the score, ready to map into Google Chat.

A Zap that starts in Google Chat can use Usertick's actions. Update Response sets an answer's status, type or urgency, Add Comment adds a note your team sees in the inbox, and Find Response looks up an answer by email or ID first.

No. Attachments stay in Usertick, because a Zap can't open their links. The Response link field opens the answer, with its files, in the inbox.
