A demographic survey asks who your participants are, so you can compare answers between groups instead of reading one average. This template takes under two minutes: age group, gender, country, highest education, employment status, industry, household income before taxes and the language spoken most at home. Every question is optional, and most offer Prefer not to say.
It is written for a link survey sent once to a research panel, or an email Usertick sends to a contact list, with a welcome screen that says why you ask. You can also add the same questions to the end of a longer research survey, after the questions that matter most, so people answer them last.
Results shows each answer as a donut with its share and count and lists the typed Other answers. Selecting an answer, such as 25 to 34, narrows every card on the page to that group, which is how you compare groups. Usertick reads the written country answers like any other text, and the Audience tab already shows the country each response came from.
