ATM questions that show who still depends on cash
Ask customers how they get cash, how far they travel for it and how your machines and counters work. Each question below comes with when to ask it and what the answer tells you.
What ATM survey questions tell you
ATM survey questions ask customers how often they use cash, how far the nearest machine is, whether it worked last time and what it costs them to take out their own money. The answers show who still relies on cash, which machines need attention and what a closure would mean for the people nearby.
Ask right after a withdrawal or deposit with a QR code on the machine or at the counter, and by email to customers who use cash often. Pick four to six questions, and give each machine or branch its own link so every answer carries a tag for that place.
Written answers get a category, a theme, a type and a sentiment, and each response an urgency, so a report of a broken machine reaches operations quickly. Give each response an owner in the inbox, and post machine reports to Slack or Microsoft Teams with the tag from the link.
