Usertick
Showing feedback survey template

Know where every buyer stands, a few hours after the showing

Four short questions for buyers and renters who just toured a property: how the showing went, how interested they are now and what would stop an offer. Use it as it is or change any question, and Usertick reads every written answer for you.

What this showing feedback survey tells you

A showing feedback survey asks visitors about a property while the rooms are still fresh in their mind. This template keeps it to four questions and under a minute: a rating for the showing, how interested they are now, what would stop them from making an offer and how to reach them about next steps.

It is written for an email sent a few hours after the showing, with the rating inside the email so one tap starts the survey. The same template also runs as a link you paste into your own message to the buyer, as a QR code on the printed listing sheet, as a popup on the page where people book showings or as a conversation.

Every typed Other reason is read as it arrives and filed under a category from your list, such as showings and listings or rent and fees, with a type and an urgency. Results compares the showing rating with the period before, shows the share of visitors at each level of interest and lists the people who asked to hear about next steps.

The 4 questions, one by one

What each question asks, why it is there, what it shows you and what to change.

Question 1 of 4 · Stars

How satisfied were you with the showing?

Why ask it
The showing is the part of the sale you fully control: arriving on time, a clean and well lit property, clear answers at the door. A five-star rating separates how the visit went from how the visitor feels about the home itself.
What you learn
Results shows the average rating, a bar for each star and the share who rated 4 or higher, against the period before, so a slip in how your showings are run shows up across every listing.
Make it yours
Keep it first. In the email the stars sit inside the message, and one tap opens the rest of the survey with the rating kept.
Question 2 of 4 · Multiple choice

How interested are you in this property now?

Why ask it
Interest is the question every seller asks after a showing. Three plain levels give you an answer you can pass on the same day, without reading too much into a polite handshake at the door.
What you learn
A donut with the share and count of each level. Select Very interested to narrow the whole page to those visitors and see what would still stop them and how they want to be reached.
Make it yours
Run one copy of the survey per listing, so the interest numbers you send each seller are about their property alone.
Question 3 of 4 · Multiple choice · Optional

What, if anything, would stop you from making an offer?

Why ask it
The objection is the part buyers rarely say to the agent's face. Naming the usual ones, from the price to the condition, makes the honest answer one tap away, and Nothing so far marks the visitors to call first.
What you learn
Bars with the share and count of each reason, since visitors can pick more than one, with every typed Other answer listed beside the chart. When The price leads across many showings, you have firmer ground for a price conversation with the seller.
Make it yours
Add the objections you hear at your listings, such as the HOA fee or the school district, and keep Nothing so far as the last option.
Question 4 of 4 · Contact · Optional

How can we reach you about next steps?

Why ask it
A visitor who wants a second showing or is ready to talk about an offer can leave a name, an email and a phone number in the same step. It stays optional, so people who only want to give feedback can finish without it.
What you learn
A table of the names and emails people left. The email from a Contact answer becomes the visitor's email in the inbox and can create a contact for your next send.
Make it yours
Turn on the Phone field if your agents call back, and turn off the fields you never use so the step stays short.

Tips for this survey

Small choices that keep people answering and the answers useful.

  1. 01

    Send it the same day

A buyer who toured five homes on Saturday mixes them up by Monday. Send the email within a few hours of each showing, or schedule it before you leave the property.

  2. 02

    Keep one survey per listing

Results doesn't split answers by property, so give each listing its own copy of the survey. Each seller then gets ratings, interest and objections about their own home.

  3. 03

    Report to the seller weekly

The rating, the interest donut and the list of objections give a seller something firmer than your impressions. From Pro, a scheduled PDF report can send that summary on a set day.

  4. 04

    Call the interested visitors first

Assign each response with Very interested to an agent in the inbox and set its status once they have called. On every plan, a workflow can post new answers to Slack or Microsoft Teams.
