Ski trip questions that show what made the week on the mountain
Ask guests about the slopes, the lifts, rental gear, lessons and the value of the package. Each question below comes with when to ask it and what the answer tells you.
What ski resort survey questions tell you
Ski resort survey questions ask guests how the slopes were, how long they waited at the lifts, how the rental shop and the ski school did and whether the package was worth the money. Snow and weather are out of your hands, and these answers separate them from the parts you run, such as lifts, lessons, rentals and food.
Ask on the last day with a QR code at the rental return, or by email within a day or two of getting home. Pick four to six questions, ask the guest's level first, and add logic so only guests who took a lesson rate an instructor.
Written answers get a theme and a sentiment, so complaints about lift lines or rental boots add up over the season. Each card in Results compares with the period before, which shows how one week of the season compares with the last.

The 14 ski trips questions, with when to ask each
Grouped by what they tell you. Use them as they are or change the wording.
The guest and the trip
Level, days on the mountain and what was rented frame every other answer.
- 01Dropdown
How would you describe your skiing or riding?
The guest's level, from first time to confident anywhere. Select a level in Results to compare how beginners and experts rated the slopes and lessons; consider a separate question for snowboarding, since its option mixes sport with level.
- 05Ruler
How many days did you spend on the mountain?
Days on the mountain, from 0 to 14. Results shows the median and the middle half; compare it with the nights booked to see whether guests skip days on the slopes.
- 04Multiple choice
What did you rent?
Every item rented, from skis to clothing. The bars show what guests rent most, and selecting one filters the page to that group's answers on the rental shop.
On the mountain
Slopes, lift tickets, lift lines and the grid show which part of the operation needs work.
- 02Stars
How were the slopes during your stay?
A star rating for slope conditions during the stay. Results shows the average and the share who rated 4 or higher; read it next to the week's snow, which you can't change.
- 03Yes / No
Did you get your lift ticket without waiting?
A yes or no on getting the lift ticket without waiting. A No points to the ticket office or the pickup machines, and passes sold online may be the fix.
- 12Ruler
How many minutes did you wait at the busiest lift?
Minutes at the busiest lift, from 0 to 60. Results shows the median and the middle half; a high median points to the lift to upgrade or the hours to staff up.
- 09Matrix
Rate each part of the ski trip
Rates the lifts, the ski school, the rental shop and the mountain restaurants. The heat map shows which part of the operation lets guests down.
Lessons
Ask about a lesson, then show the instructor rating only to guests who took one.
- 10Yes / No
Did you take a lesson?
A yes or no on taking a lesson. Add logic so only guests who answer Yes see the instructor rating.
- 11Stars
How good was your instructor?
A star rating for the instructor, shown only to guests who took a lesson. Tag links by ski school to compare schools within the resort.
Value and next season
Package value, what let the trip down, what to change and what guests look for show what to fix before next season.
- 08Big scale
How good was the value of the whole package?
Value of the whole package, from 1 to 10. Results shows the average and a column per step; read it with what let the trip down to see which cost hurts value most.
- 06Multiple choice
What let the trip down, if anything?
The single thing that let the trip down, with Nothing for a good week. The donut separates snow and weather from lifts, gear and prices you can act on.
- 07Text
What would you change about the ski package?
An open question on the ski package. Each answer gets a theme, so requests such as lessons included or a later checkout add up over the season.
- 13Ranking
Rank what matters when you pick a resort
Guests rank what matters when they pick a resort, from the snow record to family facilities. Results shows each item's average place, a guide for your marketing.
- 14Text
Which run or moment made the trip for you?
An open question on the run or moment that made the trip. The answers give you real stories, in guests' own words, for next season's pages.
Tips for asking about ski trips
Small choices that get honest, useful answers.
- 01
Ask the level first
A first-timer and an expert judge the same slopes differently. Put the level first and select it in Results to read each group.
- 02
Catch guests at rental return
Put a QR code at the rental return or the ski room on the last day, when the week is fresh.
- 03
Separate weather from service
Keep snow and weather as options so they don't hide problems with lifts, rentals and lessons.
- 04
Tag each week
Tag each link with the week or package, so answers keep it in Google Sheets and one bad snow week doesn't blur the season.
